I live in Williamsburg Brooklyn, and every year there is the best day for millions. Life is a tough run but that is the joy of it. The marathon is the proof of this truth. The spectators cheer, the runners struggle, the city, it all coalesces into the best of humanity. Yes, there is a person that runs it in the shortest time but I don’t consider them a winner. Everyone wins on this day. I believe the marathon is the best sport for this reason, the winners.
